Personal Day- Frontline Employees

We know our frontline roles may find it harder to take time off work to attend medical appointments, go to the bank, or attend events such as children’s school plays due to their committed shift patterns.

We’re committed to making Amey a truly flexible workplace for all of our people , that’s why we’ve introduced a personal day each year, for all of our frontline employees. If you work on our frontline, you can now take up to 8 hours paid leave to make it easier for you to take time off work to deal with personal matters.

How do I book my ‘personal day’?

To provide maximum flexibility, personal time will be managed locally. Ask your people manager when you need to book personal time off work.

Need more information?

You can find our FAQ document here and you can print and display this poster with the FAQs on noticeboards to inform frontline employees about the personal day.
