Pennies from Heaven
Pennies From Heaven is a way to donate the pennies from your payslip to charity every time you are paid.
Amey has been partnering with Pennies from Heaven for over 3 years and across the country, Amey employees have been donating their payslip pennies to our Charity Partner, Cancer Research UK. It’s the quickest and easiest way to donate your spare pennies from your wage slip and help fund important research in the fight against cancer.
How it works?
- Each month your salary is rounded down to nearest pound and donated to Cancer Research UK. Example: if net pay was £850.34 then 34p would be donated.
- The most you’d ever give is 99p per month – and the least is 0p per month!
- 100% of donations will be received by CRUK and will be used help in the fight against cancer. Plus, HMRC will add 25% at no cost.
- The average total is £6 a year – this would buy 150 test tubes to be used in cancer-fighting experiments.
