Anytime Benefits

Each year, Amey works closely with external providers to provide convenient and cost-effective benefits available for everyone to take advantage of. Amey opens the Anytime Choices window for every employee to choose a wide range of benefits each month.

The Anytime Choices window is open from the 1st – 15th of each month. Keep reading for further information on the various benefits Amey offers, and how to enrol.

Cycle to Work (NI, T)

Want to choose a green way to commute to work, and get fit at the same time? Cycle to work may be the answer! The cycle to work scheme is supported by the government to encourage us all to cycle more on our daily commute, reduce our carbon footprints and improve our health.

Cycle to work allows you to purchase a new bike and accessories with Tax and National Insurance savings and spread the cost over 12 months. Sound good? Further information on costs and coverage can be found in the links below.

How do I apply?

1. Visit the Cycle Scheme website here (company reference code: Amey) to see which bike shops are part of the scheme. Have a look at the bike and any safety accessories you want to buy (reflective clothing, helmets, lights etc) and add up the total amount
2. Enter the amount in the Choices selection portal in Employee Self Service
3. Apply for your CycleScheme certificate there and sign the hire agreement to confirm your salary deductions
4. Our HR team will review and approve your hire agreement and email you your CycleScheme certificate
5. Once you have received it, you can then take it to the bike shop you looked at to get your bike and any accessories

Gym Membership (NI)

Want to get back into shape, keep your fitness levels up, or just maintain your current fitness? Amey has partnered with GymFlex to provide corporate discounts to over 2,500 gyms across the UK. Membership costs vary depending on the gym and package you choose, but there is an opportunity to shed pounds off your current subscription!

How do I apply?

1. Visit the Gymflex website here (company reference code: Amey) between the 1st and 15th of each month. There you’ll be able to see what local gyms near you are available and the different membership packages are on offer.
2. Our HR team will review and approve your request and review/approve the enrolment
3. Get ready to workout, Gymflex and/or Gym will be in touch!

Health Cash Plan (NI)

We all want to feel a little healthier, no matter what life throws at us. If something happens to you and you need treatment to recover, or just part of a regular check-up, this employee benefit can help – by giving you cash back on a range of everyday healthcare. You just decide whether it covers yourself or you and your partner. There are no medical required and pre-existing conditions are covered.

Pennies from Heaven

Pennies From Heaven (PFH) is our fantastic new initiative, as part of our two-year partnership with Cancer Research UK (CRUK). It’s the quickest and easiest way to donate your spare pennies from your wage slip and help fund important research in the fight against cancer.

For example, if you make £834.34 per month, 34p will automatically go to CRUK. The most you will ever donate per month is 99p, with 100% of the donation, and gift aid, going to the charity.
You can keep up to date on PFH and the many other ways to get involved in our CRUK partnership at amey.co.uk/cancer-research-uk.

How do I apply?

You can sign up and opt out at any time by visiting penniesfromheaven.co.uk/amey.

Payroll Giving (T)

Whilst Pennies from Heaven allows only donations to CRUK, Payroll Giving enables you to give as little or as much to you want to any charities of your choice.

You can choose to donate to any registered charity with regular monthly contributions. Alternatively, you can request that your donations are held in a Charities Aid Foundation account.
