Women @ Amey

Women @ Amey have a vision to make Amey a female employer of choice, where all women feel safe, respected and valued and are supported to succeed in their chosen career path.

Our Purpose

To listen and give a voice to all women within the business, advocating for their needs and providing practical support and resources to enable their success.

Objectives

Women at Amey has four key objectives referred to as pillars shown below.

  • Attract
  • Develop
  • Support
  • Community

These pillars form the basis of working groups established by the members of the Women at Amey Committee. These working groups will produce plans detailed objectives and deliverables under each pillar annually (see appendices A-D).

Governance Structure

The structure for oversight and coordination of the activities of the group is shown in the organisation chart below

The Women@Amey Networks is co-chaired by Hollie Taylor and Charlotte Jones. The committee includes representatives from all areas of the business are split into four working groups that link to our four pillars and each have a working group lead. If you'd like to speak to a committee member of join the committee please contact Women@amey.co.uk. 

The Women at Amey committee will hold 3 types of regular meeting as detailed below:

Working Group Meetings – frequency and agenda to be defined by the working group

Tactical Meetings – to be held monthly lasting approximately 45 mins. These meetings will focus on updates from Chairs, Working Group Leads and urgent business

Strategic Meetings – to be held quarterly with focus on open forum discussions. Topics for discussion will be tabled in advance and allocated a slot in the agenda

An annual meeting will take place in January each year to assess performance against previous year objectives and agree priorities for the coming year.
